Traditional, comforting meatloaf gets a quick update with the addition of herbaceous ground oregano, and a classic ketchup glaze is heightened with brown sugar and cider vinegar.

1 Pound Ground Beef

3/4 Pound Ground Pork

2 Teaspoons Onion, grated

2 Medium Cloves Garlic, minced

1 Egg, lightly beaten

1/4 Cup Quick-Cooking Oats

1 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Oregano

1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Salt

1 Teaspoon Onion Powder

1/2 Cup Ketchup

4 Tablespoons Granulated Brown Sugar

1 1/2 Tablespoons Cider Vinegar
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 10-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.

Place beef, pork, grated onion, garlic cloves, egg, oats, oregano, garlic salt and onion powder in large bowl, and mix by hand until combined.

Press meat into loaf pan and transfer to oven to bake until internal temperature reaches 155°F, approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

While meatloaf bakes, whisk ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar together in small bowl until combined. About 10 minutes before meatloaf is done cooking, brush top with glaze and return to oven to continue cooking.

Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve.
