Makes 2 cups


  1. Combine salt, cinnamon, cumin, chile powder, cayenne and 1 tablespoon granulated sugar in medium bowl.

  2. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. When pan is hot, add pumpkin seeds, brown sugar and remaining 1 tablespoon granulated white sugar, and toss to combine.

  3. Cook until sugars melt and seeds begin to caramelize, about 1 minute. Remove from heat, and transfer mixture to bowl with spice mix. Toss to combine. Taste and season with additional salt, if needed.

  4. Store in airtight container.
