1 1/4 Cups Granulated Sunflower Seeds

3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/4 Teaspoon Kosher Sea Salt Flakes

1/2 Cup (1 Stick) Unsalted Butter

3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar

1/4 Cup White Sugar

1 Large Egg

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract, Bourbon Madagascar

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray.

Combine Granulated Sunflower Seeds, flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.

Place butter and sugars in bowl of standing mixer and beat on medium-high speed until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Reduce speed to medium and add dry ingredients in stages, pausing to scrape down sides of bowl with spatula. Do not over-mix. Fold in sunflower seeds.

Drop batter by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet. Transfer to oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from oven, transfer cookies to wire rack and let cool.
