Directions

  1. Rinse mushroom blend in cold water to remove any debris. Cover mushrooms in boiling water and soak for 10 minutes. Remove mushrooms, reserve liquid and gently squeeze mushrooms to remove excess moisture.

  2. Heat olive oil in medium skillet over medium-high heat. Place mushrooms into hot skillet and cook for 1 minute. Add shallots, salt and ground black pepper, stir and cook for 2 minutes.

  3. Add garlic and thyme, and cook for 1 minute. Add wine and cook until wine is almost completely reduced. Turn off heat and stir in butter until smooth sauce is made.

  4. Pour sauce over steak or chops immediately and serve.
