1 Cup Water

1/4 Cup Crushed Peppermint

2 Tablespoons Agave Nectar

1/2 Cup Dutch Processed Cocoa Powder, plus more for dusting

1 Cup Milk

Whipped Cream Or Marshmallows, if desired

Bring water, crushed peppermint and agave nectar to a boil in small saucepan. Remove from heat, and let steep for at least 5 minutes. Strain through fine mesh strainer into medium saucepan and discard solids.

Add cocoa powder and milk to mint syrup, and place saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until cocoa develops smooth texture.

Serve immediately, topped with whipped cream or marshmallows and dusting of cocoa powder.
