This breakfast porridge takes full advantage of our Nine Grain Mix, a unique blend of different grains and rice. Hearty and substantial with just enough sweetness from raisins and honey, this satisfying porridge is a great way to start the day.

Ingredients
Makes 4 servings.

2 Tablespoons Honey, plus more for serving

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Ground Sri Lankan Cinnamon

1/8 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

1 Cup Nine Grain Mix

1/2 Cup Raisins
-
1 Tablespoon Butter

1 Cup Whole Milk

1/4 Cup Slivered & Blanched Almonds
Directions

Bring 2 cups water to boil in medium saucepan. Add honey, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, 9-Grain Mix and raisins. Return water to boil, and reduce heat to a low simmer. Cover and cook for 40 minutes.

Remove from heat, and let rest, covered, for 10 minutes.

Stir in butter, and place porridge in 4 serving bowls. Pour ¼ cup milk on each bowl, and sprinkle with almonds.

Serve immediately with additional drizzle of honey if desired.
