Our Lemon Powder is an easy way to add the citrusy, tart, tangy flavor of lemon to any dish. These sweet yet sour lemon drop candies make for a pleasantly tart treat.

Ingredients
Makes 2 cups

2 Tablespoons Plain Gelatin

1 1/4 Cups Water, cold, divided

2 Cups Sugar

3 Tablespoons Lemon Powder

2 Dashes Yellow Food Coloring
Directions

Line baking dish with aluminum foil and lightly coat foil with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

Place gelatin in bowl with 1/2 cup water to soften.

Combine remaining 3/4 cup water and sugar in saucepan and simmer over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

Pour gelatin into saucepan with hot syrup and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.

Stir in 2 tablespoons Lemon Powder and 2 drops food coloring, and pour mixture into foil-wrapped pan. Transfer to refrigerator and chill for at least 12 hours.

Unmold gelatin and cut into desired shapes. Roll gumdrops in remaining tablespoon Lemon Powder.
