4 Tablespoons Ground Black Chia Seed, soaked in 1 cup water for 15 minutes)

1 Cup Almond Meal

1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar

8 Tablespoons (1 Stick) Butter, room temperature

5 Medium Eggs

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 Teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Grease and flour cake pan or line with baking paper.

Place almond meal, brown sugar, cocoa, butter, eggs, baking soda and salt in bowl. Stir to combine, whisking to break up any lumps. Add chia seeds and liquid and mix well.

Pour batter into cake pan, transfer to oven and bake for 40 minutes. Allow cake to cool before removing from pan.
