Ingredients
Makes 24 crackers

1/4 Cup Brown Flaxseed

1/4 Cup Golden Flaxseed

1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Sea Salt Flakes

4 Teaspoons Unsalted Butter

1/2 Cup Skim Milk

1 Cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Directions

Combine Brown Flaxseed, Golden Flaxseed, flour, baking powder, salt and butter in bowl of stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment. Mix on low speed until mixture resembles coarse meal.

Add cheddar cheese and gently mix, just until combined. Stir in milk, and mix until mixture forms soft dough.

Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Divide dough into quarters. Turn out one quarter onto lightly floured work surface. Roll out into very thin rectangle 1/16th-inch thick. Cut into 2-1/2-inch squares.

Transfer squares to ungreased, parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Cool completely before serving or storing.
