Crusted Seared Tuna with Sweet Soy-Lime Vinaigrette

  • 2 Teaspoons Honey

  • 2 Teaspoons Soy Sauce

  • 2 Limes, juiced

  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil

  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil, divided

  • 2 Tablespoons Salt-Free Asian Seasoning

  • 2 Ahi Tuna Steak, 6 to 8 ounces each


  1. Whisk honey, soy sauce and lime juice together in bowl, then slowly whisk in sesame oil and 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Set vinaigrette aside.

  2. Heat skillet to high. Place Salt-Free Asian Seasoning on plate and dredge tuna steaks on both sides.

  3. Add remaining vegetable oil to hot pan and carefully place both tuna steaks in oil. Sear first side for 30 seconds, turn steaks and sear other side for 30 seconds.

  4. Remove tuna and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Slice into 1/2-inch pieces.

  5. Serve with vinaigrette.
