1 Pound Chicken Breast

4 Tablespoons Butter

4 Tablespoons Flour

3 Cups Chicken Broth

1 Cup Cajun Dirty Rice, cooked

Salt And Ground Black Pepper
Directions

Dice chicken breast into 1-inch pieces.

Heat 2-quart pot over medium heat, and add butter. When butter bubbles, add chicken pieces and cook for 5 minutes before stirring.

Stir chicken around pot to achieve brown color and cook for another 6 to 7 minutes.

Add flour, stirring into butter and chicken with wooden spoon. When paste has formed, cook for 1 minute before adding chicken broth. Bring to a simmer. As soup thickens, add Cajun Dirty Rice.

Season with salt and ground black pepper.
