Ingredients

1 Pound Chicken Thighs, skinless, boneless

3 Tablespoons Organic Shawarma Seasoning

1/2 Cup Onion, sliced thin

2 Pita Pocket Breads

1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil

1 Cucumber, peeled, seeded

1 Tomato
-
3 Tablespoons Parsley, chopped fine

1 1/2 Tablespoons White Wine Vinegar

1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 Cup Sour Cream Or Yogurt

1 Green Onion, chopped fine

2 Teaspoons Dill Weed

1 Teaspoon Garlic, chopped fine

2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
Directions

Cut the chicken thighs into half inch strips. In a small bowl, toss them with shawarma seasoning. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Cut the seeded peeled cucumber and tomato into small dice. Mix this in a small bowl with the chopped parsley, white wine vinegar, and olive oil. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

In a separate bowl mix the sour cream, chopped green onion, garlic, dill weed and lemon juice. Season lightly.

Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the vegetable oil, then the shawarma seasoned chicken and onion. Saute for 3 to 4 minutes until chicken is cooked through, stirring occasionally.

Cut each pita in half, and fill the 4 halves with the chicken shawarma. Serve with the cucumber tomato mix, and the sour cream sauce.
