6 Cups Mixed Berries

1 Cup Granulated Sugar

3 Tablespoons Corn Starch

1 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

1 Teaspoon Ginger Powder

1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice

1 Cup Almond Meal

1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Korintje Cinnamon

1/4 Teaspoon Kosher Sea Salt Flakes

8 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, cut into small pieces

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease 8-inch by 8-inch or 9-inch by 9-inch baking dish.

Rinse fruit with cold water and pour into baking dish. Sprinkle granulated sugar, corn starch, ginger, nutmeg and lemon juice over fruit. Mix gently but thoroughly with hands.

Combine almond meal, baking powder, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in small bowl. Add butter and use fork to cut dried ingredients in. Continue until mixture resembles coarse bread crumbs. Spread crumb mixture evenly over fruit.

Bake for 30-40 minutes until top is golden brown and fruit is bubbling.

Allow crumble to cool for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
