Ingredients

2 Cups Ancient Whole Grain Blend

3 Tablespoons Chimichurri Blend

2/3 Cup Slivered & Blanched Almonds

2/3 Cup Dried Tart Cherries

1 1/2 Tablespoons Malt Vinegar Powder

Kosher Sea Salt Flakes, to taste

4 Cups Water

1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil

Ground Pepper, to taste
Directions

In a medium pot, bring the 6 cups water to a boil, add a teaspoon of salt and the ancient grain blend. Lower heat to a simmer, and cook fo 40 to 45 minutes until soft but it retains a bit of al dente texture. Drain and cool to room temperature.

In a small bowl, mix the malt vinegar powder with 2 tablespoons of water. Add in the chimichurri blend and vegetable oil. Stir well.

In a medium bowl, mix the cooked ancient grain, slivered almonds, cherries, and chimichurri dressing. Season to taste.
