Ingredients

Directions

  1. Soak Diced Green Anaheim Chiles in water and set aside.

  2. Place 1-quart saucepan over high heat and add butter, pears, cumin, epazote and salt. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring to prevent burning. Add water and chiles plus sugar and honey. Bring to a simmer.

  3. Combine lime juice and pectin powder in small bowl. Stir to thoroughly dissolve powder and add to simmering pot. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

  4. Place jam into sterilized jars and refrigerate.
