Eastern Asia is home to some of the most exciting, vibrant cuisines in the world. Widely varied dishes from many different countries share a few unique and interesting ingredients.
Lemongrass is popular for its verdant, slight citrus taste. Basil is used for its sweet, fragrant aroma and flavor.
Star anise is widely used throughout Asian cuisine - in traditional Chinese five-spice powder, Indian garam masala and Vietnamese pho - for its distinctive warmth and unique flavor.
We blended these spices with garlic, onion, thyme, sea salt and white and black peppercorns to create our Vietnamese Lemongrass Rub.
