Premium Basmati Rice
Basmati is a long grain, fragrant rice that cooks fluffier than white rice with a stronger flavor than the jasmine variety. We source aromatic white basmati grown in India with a sweet, nutty flavor for our Indian Basmati Rice.

Suggested uses
Basic prep
Place 1 cup White Basmati Rice and 1-1/2 cups of water in a pot with a lid. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Season to taste. Fluff with fork before serving.
Ingredients
Basmati Rice
Basmati is fragrant Indian rice, and we source our Basmati Rice to offer a flavorful grain with an intoxicating natural aroma. We then age our basmati for up to two years to dehydrate the rice, increasing the role of natural oils in its flavor profile and allowing it to expand greatly when cooked.
Classic recipe
Mujadara
Deeply satisfying and redolent of caramelized onions and aromatic spices, mujadara is considered a staple throughout the Middle East. Consisting of steamed Basmati Rice and Green Lentils cooked pilaf-style with golden-brown fried onions, mujadara is a pleasantly spicy-yet-sweet dish.
