    Ingredients

    Basmati Rice

Basmati is fragrant Indian rice, and we source our Basmati Rice to offer a flavorful grain with an intoxicating natural aroma. We then age our basmati for up to two years to dehydrate the rice, increasing the role of natural oils in its flavor profile and allowing it to expand greatly when cooked.

  • Lighter and fluffier than other rices when cooked

  • Ideal for stir-fry dishes, salads, pilafs and desserts

  • Grown in native India, its nutty flavor pairs well with savory dishes including curries and other Middle Eastern fare

  • Classic recipe

    Mujadara

Deeply satisfying and redolent of caramelized onions and aromatic spices, mujadara is considered a staple throughout the Middle East. Consisting of steamed Basmati Rice and Green Lentils cooked pilaf-style with golden-brown fried onions, mujadara is a pleasantly spicy-yet-sweet dish.
