    Ingredients

Horseradish powder, Mustard powder, Spinach powder, IP cornstarch, Citric acid, Wasabi powder, Ascorbic acid. Contains: Mustard.

Our Natural Wasabi Powder gets its potent, zesty flavor and sharp, bold aroma from a blend of wasabi, white horseradish and mustard powders. It is an all-natural alternative to commercial wasabi powders, which typically include artificial coloring. Instead, we add our all-natural spinach powder as a color enhancer.

Our Natural Wasabi Powder is a convenient, shelf-stable way to add a potent blast of wasabi zing to recipes. Serve it pure (just mix into a paste using an equal quantity of cool water) as a condiment on its own, or blend with other ingredients to lend wasabi's fiery kick to other foods.

A key ingredient in many traditional Japanese dishes (perhaps most famously many styles of sushi), wasabi pairs well with many different ingredients. Its peppery flavor and potent aroma add much to bland foods like roasted or mashed potatoes. Wasabi also makes an interesting addition to dipping sauces or salad dressings.

Wasabi is a Japanese root plant of the Brassicaceae family, which also includes horseradish, cabbage and mustard. Occasionally referred to as a Japanese horseradish, this rare plant has proven very difficult to cultivate outside of its native Japan and parts of New Zealand, and is therefore quite expensive.

    Wasabi Mayonnaise

Our zesty Wasabi Powder combined with soy sauce and lemon juice-inflected mayonnaise serves as the perfect dipping sauce for seared tuna, blanched asparagus or grilled, Asian-style steak.
