Brown Basmati Rice is a long, whole grain, naturally aromatic brown rice grown in India. We source and select rice with its bran coating intact for higher fiber, firmer texture and stronger flavor than white basmati for our Brown Basmati Rice.

    Suggested uses

  • Serve with traditional Indian and South Asian cuisine.

  • Pair with lentils, curries, stir-fry dishes, coconut milk, stews and fresh vegetables soups.

  • Add to savory cooking or cold salads.

  • Basic prep

    Place 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water in pot with lid. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Season as desired and fluff with fork before serving.
